Safety
Every crew member home safe, every day — that's the standard we hold ourselves to.
Our Philosophy
Safety isn’t a policy. It’s how we build.
In building exterior restoration, there are no second chances. Our crews work at height, on scaffolds, in weather — across some of the most demanding job sites in New York City. That’s why safety isn’t a line item on our checklist. It’s the foundation of every decision we make.
From pre-project planning to final punch list, every phase is designed around one principle: zero incidents, zero compromise.
“A safe job site is an efficient job site. When crews trust the plan and the equipment, they do their best work — on time, on budget, and without incident.”
Michael Russo, President & CEO

Projects Completed Safely
Training & Preparedness
Every crew member. Every project.
Our safety program goes beyond regulatory minimums. Every worker completes comprehensive training before setting foot on a Citiline job site — and continues learning throughout the year.
OSHA 30-Hour Certification
All field personnel complete OSHA 30-hour construction safety training before assignment to any project.
Site-Specific Orientation
Customized safety briefings for every project — covering building-specific hazards, emergency routes, and coordination with tenants.
Scaffold & Fall Protection
Specialized training in supported scaffold erection, suspended scaffold operation, and personal fall arrest systems.
Weekly Toolbox Talks
Short, focused safety discussions every Monday morning addressing seasonal hazards, near-miss reviews, and best practices.
Annual Recertification
Refresher courses in hazard communication, respiratory protection, and emergency response — keeping skills sharp year-round.
On-Site Protocols
Discipline at every phase
From mobilization to demobilization, these protocols run on every Citiline project — no exceptions, no shortcuts.
Daily Pre-Work Inspections
Scaffolds, rigging, and PPE are inspected every morning before work begins. No inspection, no work.
Fall Protection Systems
100% tie-off policy at any height above 6 feet. Guardrails, safety nets, and personal fall arrest systems on every elevated surface.
Hazard Communication
Full SDS documentation on site. All chemical exposures labeled, stored, and communicated to every worker in their language.
Emergency Action Plans
Building-specific evacuation routes, assembly points, and emergency contacts posted at every access point. Drills run quarterly.
Incident Reporting
Near-misses are documented and reviewed within 24 hours. Root cause analysis drives corrective action — not blame.
Subcontractor Compliance
Every subcontractor is pre-qualified on safety record, insurance, and training. No exceptions — our standards apply to everyone on site.
